DESIGN BRIEF
Our brief to 3DPOOLDESIGNS was to create a pool the would easily accommodate steep sloping sites, and utilise the pool structure to form part of the retaining system, plus the design had to add value to our clients home and lifestyles.
KEY POINTS:	The design successfully achieves these key important points in the following ways. Principally designed as a family pool, this VPS pool design is well suited to many sites, including steep properties and can be orientated in various configurations.
SWIM OUTS:	The swim out sits under the raised wall, this part of the design is especially important as it serves many purposes, one) it allows swimmers a place to relax and rest, and a great target for smallest swimmers who otherwise would have nothing to grab onto as the pool extends straight upwards, secondly) by placing the bench here, it allows the construction concrete spray crews something to stand on when spraying the concrete pool wall, the tiler and or renderer a platform to work on, what does this mean to you savings, no scaffold - large labour cost or budget blow outs.
WATER FEATURE:	Is concealed in the wall of the planter that intersects the pool, and blurs the line between pool and surrounds.
SURROUNDS:	Simple and effective, probably best describes the surrounds, there is ample room for poolside entertaining, the large walls can be designed to retain sloping sites, or simply screening unsightly view or creating privacy.
